I've walked her green valleys, and stood on the cliffs watching the oceans waves roll in
I've marveled at the miles and miles of stone walls as they meander up and down the mountain side
I've stood before the fairy mound, and yes I looked for the fairy or leprechaun behind the bush
I've danced to the lively jigs and been taken to places far away by the sound of Celtic pipes
I've drank the beer and tasted the stew
I've seen the dark side of the Irish temper, and the sweet innocent side of the young lads and lassies
I've seen her barren and lonely side, and heard her story of sorrow and grief
There is no other place on earth that touches you as this tiny island. Her history, her traditions, her folklore, her people.
If you ever get the chance, go there, feel her story for it resonates in every person, place and thing.
I guarantee you will be a different person

Erin go Bragh!
